Since our founding more than a century ago, being a positive force in our communities and the wider world has been part of Mazars’ DNA.

This report celebrates the ways we demonstrate our commitment to making a difference – as individuals and a firm. Every day, our people engage in acts of kindness, personal and professional growth activities, and philanthropy.

Annual Giving Theme

Through the Annual Giving Theme Program, which was launched in 2018, Mazars annually donates $100,000 to organizations dedicated to each year’s cause. In 2023, the firm supported environmental education, research, and conservation by pledging $35,000 to three different ESG-related non-profit organizations.

Days of Service 

Hundreds of employees and Partners spent our Days of Service at dozens of community and nonprofit programs in New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Chicago, Baltimore, and Dallas. Mazars’ volunteers brought joy to thousands of people in need and helped the dedicated organizations serving them.

Supporting veterans 

For the fourth year in a row, Mazars formally partnered with American Corporate Partners (ACP), the only nationwide veteran mentorship program that offers year-long, customized, one-on-one career counseling and networking opportunities with seasoned corporate mentors to transitioning service members and active-duty military spouses.

Mazars mentors help protégés navigate the job market and secure career opportunities. This year, our volunteers worked with veterans on everything from describing their military experience in language corporations can understand in job applications to helping them find meaningful employment.

In recognition of this program and many others, Mazars was honored as a “Champion of Good Works” in 2023 by The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and COMMERCE Magazine.

Office drives and other supported organizations

At Mazars, we strive to find many different ways to give of our time, talent, and resources. In addition to our Days of Service, we also help with annual office drives – including back-to-school and seasonal food and toy drives, uplifting our local communities. In celebration of Giving Tuesday, our Office Managers organize philanthropic activities that are both local and national in reach.
