Mazars announces 2023 Giving Theme
Over $100,000 will support environmental-related non-profit organizations.
New York, NY – July 11, 2023 – Mazars, a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm in the US, today announced its 2023 Giving Theme will support environmental education, research, and conservation, and has pledged $35,000 to three different ESG-related non-profit organizations totaling $105,000.
New York, NY – July 11, 2023 – Mazars, a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm in the US, today announced its 2023 Giving Theme will support environmental education, research, and conservation, and has pledged $35,000 to three different ESG-related non-profit organizations totaling $105,000.
Through the Annual Giving Theme Program, which was launched in 2018, Mazars annually donates $100,000 to organizations dedicated to each year’s cause. This year, the firm will focus on environmental sustainability, in line with its ESG strategy, supporting organizations advancing environmental education, research and conservation.
The three organizations Mazars will support include:
- The Columbia Climate School – The donation will support environmental sustainability research and education. The Columbia Climate School will allocate the gift across the Climate School Student Scholarship Fund, K-12 Sustainability Education, the Columbia Water Center, and the Research Seed Funding Program (for innovative sustainability research).
- The Nature Conservancy – The donation will support the organization’s global freshwater work, advancing its efforts to ensure that critical freshwater ecosystems around the world are resilient, healthy and connected. The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a global conservation organization dedicated to conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends. Guided by science, TNC creates innovative, on-the-ground solutions to our world’s toughest challenges so that nature and people can thrive together.
- World Wildlife Fund (WWF) – The donation will help support the organization’s vision: to build a future in which people live in harmony with nature. To deliver this mission, WWF works to conserve and restore biodiversity, the web that supports all life on Earth; to reduce humanity’s environmental footprint; and to ensure the sustainable use of natural resources to support current and future generations.
