Mundia Mubyana

Mundia has 20 years of actuarial experience spanning private equity, actuarial audit support, consulting, and insurance company roles.

Prior to joining Mazars, Mundia was the first ever in-house actuary at a Miami-based private investment firm where he was responsible for educating peers on insurance industry dynamics, due diligence on the acquisition of property & casualty insurance businesses and ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies. He was part of a large international accounting firm’s first in-house actuarial team and spent time as an actuarial consultant at Willis Towers Watson. Previously, he held both personal lines and commercial lines ratemaking roles at two large publicly traded insurers.

Mundia received his BS in Actuarial Science from the University of Central Missouri and completed an MBA at the University of Phoenix. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mundia also has financial engineering and catastrophe modeling credentials.
