Tatyana Hixon Senior Manager

Tatyana has over 15 years of experience delivering audit, assurance and accounting services to clients in the Real Estate sector, with a focus on the Construction industry. She has a substantial background performing various engagements under GAAP for contractors and Construction managers of various sizes and Engineering and Architectural firms. Her expertise includes a detailed understanding of Self-Insurance Programs. She has consulted Companies on internal controls, construction contract accounting and various business transactions.

Prior to joining Mazars, she was a Manager in the Construction and Real Estate Practice of a large regional accounting firm. During her career Tatyana served as Controller at a Registered Investment Advisor venture capital/private equity firm specializing in healthcare real estate investment and development. There, she was responsible for all accounting, as well as external GAAP reporting for real estate funds and private equity and venture capital funds.

Tatyana holds a BBA, summa cum laude, in Accounting, from Macaulay University at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
