Soma Sinha Director - Quality & Risk Management

Soma has over 18 years of experience providing audit and assurance services to large and international companies. She has expertise in testing internal controls (including ICFR and SOC) and providing assurance on various types of control structures, as well as with services related to ESG and sustainability reporting.

Soma is part of the Mazars Quality and Risk Management Practice, responsible for developing and implementing worldwide and local audit and assurance methodology. She is the US leader of the Assurance Professional Practice Group, and global leader of sustainability assurance methodology. She participates in the AICPA Task Forces for setting ESG international and US assurance standards, and for creating SOC 2 assurance-related guidance. She consults with engagement teams on audit and assurance issues, including ICFR, and ESG and sustainability matters.

Soma holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calcutta.
