John Confrey named to the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Leadership Academy

Mazars, a leading audit, tax and advisory firm in the US, today announced that John Confrey is one of 30 CPAs in the AICPA Leadership Academy’s 12th graduating class. This marks the second time that a Mazarian has received this honor, with John being selected for his exceptional leadership skills and professional experience. Participants were selected from public accounting firms of all sizes, as well as throughout business and industry, academia and consulting.

John, a Senior Manager in Mazars’ Real Estate Practice has been with the firm since December 2013. He has a distinguished career both at Mazars and previously.
The AICPA Leadership Academy was designed to strengthen and expand the leadership skills of promising professionals. It features career-development workshops and sessions with some of the accounting profession’s most prominent influencers. To date, 385 CPAs have participated in the AICPA Leadership Academy, many of whom have gone on to hold leadership positions in their firms, businesses and volunteer organizations.
