Laura Peth Principal

Laura is an innovative management consultant with a proven track record of delivering strategic organizational and operational efficiencies through compliance initiatives as well as clinical and quality improvements on behalf of numerous healthcare organizations. For over 15 years, she has worked in the auditing and consulting field focusing on performance monitoring and management, compliance, audit, risk management, program evaluation, clinical and quality outcomes, and process improvement.

With her wide breadth of experience, Laura specializes in connecting the dots between operational areas to pinpoint root causes, break down silos, and streamline processes, functions, and governance structures. She prides herself on developing reasonable, effective, and actionable recommendations for clients, allowing them to best prioritize and mitigate risk, improve clinical and quality outcomes, and evidence compliance.

Prior to joining Mazars, Laura worked at other national firms as well as with the City of Sacramento Auditor and the California State Auditor. 

Laura holds a Master of Public Administration from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from San Diego State University. She is also the current Lead Champion for Mazars’ Women at Mazars program.
