Kristen Walters Partner, Food & Beverage Practice Leader

Kristen has more than 15 years of experience providing audit, accounting, tax and advisory services to for clients in the manufacturing and distribution segment, serving the food and beverage, agriculture, textile and apparel, metals fabrication, wholesale/distribution industries, and other industries.  She provides services to organizations ranging from single privately held companies through large multi-national groups.  She has extensive experience assisting clients with complex technical matters such as business combinations related to M&A activity, fair value accounting, foreign reporting, consolidations as well as debt and equity instruments.

Kristen is also the Employee Benefits Practice Leader for Mazars in the US and provides audit, accounting, tax and advisory services for employee benefits plans.  Her experience with advisory services include consulting with plan mergers, plan design, representation under audit by the IRS or DOL, and plan errors and corrections.  She is in-charge of the development of the firm’s employee benefit plan audit process and tools as well as the related training firm-wide

Kristen graduated from Stockton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
