Julie Montrone Senior Manager

Julie has nearly 15 years of experience providing multi-state tax services to clients ranging from mid-market to large multi-national companies. Her expertise includes state tax planning, tax provision, and state tax compliance and consulting services for corporations and pass-through entities.

Prior to joining Mazars, Julie led the state and local tax team at Nomura Holding America, a U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese Investment Bank. She also has over 10 years of public accounting experience. Julie began her public accounting career at a Big Four Firm, where she provided consulting services to commercial clients, with a focus on pharmaceutical companies and telecom. She then moved to a large, regional firm, where she shifted her focus to compliance for financial service clients, specializing in private equity funds, broker-dealers, asset managers, investment partnerships and corporations.

Julie graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She also received a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business.
