Charles Abraham

Charles has 20 years of experience providing auditing and advisory services in the financial services industry. He currently sits on the Executive Board of, and serves as the Financial Services Practice Leader, at Mazars in the US and is responsible for driving organic growth and increasing brand recognition for the financial services sector. Charles also serves on the board of directors of Mazars Limited in Cayman.

Charles’ expertise includes providing accounting, auditing, and advisory services to a range of financial institutions, spanning SEC-registered investment advisors, hedge funds, private equity funds, fund of funds, business development companies under the Investment Company Act of 1940, SEC-registered investment companies, broker-dealers, banks, specialty finance companies, and SBICs.

His expertise encompasses audit and advisory services related to (a) the fair value of investment portfolios, (b) internal control over financial reporting (under Sarbanes Oxley 404 and FDICIA requirements), (c) SEC filers, and (d) digital assets (i.e. virtual currencies). A member of the Mazars in the US’s SEC Practice Group and the Accounting and Auditing Council, Charles leads education programs and contributes to various published articles.

Charles graduated from New York University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He received a Master of Science degree in Finance from Hofstra University.
