Director Shabbir Hassanali Receives AICPA Standing Ovation Recognition

The AICPA established the Standing Ovation Recognition Program to recognize Certified Information Technology Professionals (CITP) who are age 40 or younger and exhibit exemplary professional achievement in areas including cybersecurity, IT governance, SOC, and data analysis.

As a Director in the Risk Consulting practice at Mazars, Shabbir has over a decade of experience providing cross-functional services to clients, including System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting, financial and IT assurance and advisory, risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and forensic accounting for multiple mid-sized to large organizations.

He leads SOC examination and readiness consulting services, which include advising clients on control gaps, enhancement of processes, remediation of transaction processings and IT controls.

Shabbir also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and certified HITRUST CSF assessor (CCSFP) designation.
