Mazars announces 2022 giving theme causes

New York, NY – February 28, 2022 – Mazars, a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm in the US, today announced that for its 2022 Giving Theme it has pledged $10,000 to 10 different causes across its geographies – a total of $100,000 – in honor of its 100th anniversary

Chairman & CEO Victor Wahba said, “For more than 100 years, Mazars has been committed to being a positive force in the world. Celebrating our centennial has provided the opportunity to remember our roots and allow each office to focus on local issues that will make a special impact in our various communities. I am proud that the firm has been able to increase our giving efforts.”

Launched in 2018, Mazars annually donates $100,000 to organizations dedicated to each year’s cause. This year, each US office selected a charity or charities to receive support. Supported causes include:

  • Veterans’ services, benefits and support
  • Local food banks
  • Safe-haven programs for youth and young-adults
  • Refugee and immigrant services, benefits and support
  • Support for children with cancer and childhood cancer survivors
  • Environmental cleanup
  • Special education and rehabilitation
  • Poverty, hunger, homelessness and addiction support
  • Mental and emotional health support
  • Community organizing
  • Animal rescues and veterinary hospitals
